Our primary goal, with offering Cancer Massage, is to provide a safe and comfortable environment where a patient doesn’t feel pressured or on display – they can simply relax and let us take care of them. Oncology massage is a relaxing, soothing and gentle touch sensation that can help to relax and unwind the person we’re treating, no matter what stage of their treatment they’re at.

Your Iconic Experience

At Iconic Beautique we offer a specially adapted massage treatment which is tailored to each client’s needs and the specific ways cancer or cancer treatments have affected you and your body. Adjustments may include areas treated, pressure of massage strokes and alternate positioning (i.e. maybe you are uncomfortable lying on your stomach/back, want to sit in a chair, don’t want to take your clothes off), working to make the massage the most beneficial it can be.

Stacey (our Salon Manager and Senior Therapist) has trained under the expert tutorage of The Amethyst Trust, who in turn is partnered with SATCC (Standards Authority for Touch in Cancer Care), so you know you are in good hands. Also fully insured for working with those affected by cancer, whether when first diagnosed, during cancer treatments, on the road to recovery or in remission. She feels very honoured about the positive part she could play in someone’s cancer journey.

Before your appointment:

• • Stacey will call you prior to your appointment to introduce herself. She’ll speak about your session, expectations, comfort levels etc. 
  • This will enable her to design a treatement to your specific needs and to set up the room accordingly
  • She will also pre-fill part of the consultation form with you over the phone so that it is not too much on your first visit 

During your appointment:

• • Complete the consultation form 
  • Stacey will show you to your treatment room that will be set up according to your specific needs
  • You’ll be given a few minutes to get yourself ready
  • Your bespoke treatment begins
  • You will receive an Aftercare Card with suggestions to prolong your state of relaxation long after you’ve left the Beautique
