Looking after your skin in your 40s

It can be during your 40s that you notice changes in your skin and this can prompt people to get more serious about their skincare. Don’t panic – if you’ve not had much of a skincare regime to date it’s not too late to start.

What you might notice

You may notice that you lose some skin tone in your 40s. Your skin may look looser and you may also have a more uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation due to sun damage. Your skin may also be less oily and feel drier.
