✅ What To Do After Waxing
1. Exfoliate—But Not Right Away
Wait 2–3 days post-wax before gently exfoliating your skin. This helps to slough off dead skin cells and prevent ingrown hairs. Try a mild scrub or a chemical exfoliant with lactic acid or fruit enzymes for best results.
2. Moisturise Daily
Hydrated skin heals faster and holds onto smoothness longer. Use a fragrance-free moisturiser daily to lock in moisture and maintain skin softness. Aloe vera or shea butter-based lotions are great choices.
3. Wear Loose Clothing
For the first 24 hours, opt for loose-fitting clothing to let your skin breathe and avoid unnecessary friction or irritation.
4. Keep the Area Clean
Gently cleanse the waxed area with a mild soap and lukewarm water. Avoid hot showers or baths on the same day as your treatment.

1. Sunbathing & Tanning Beds
Avoid sun exposure, sunbeds, or fake tans for at least 24–48 hours after waxing. Waxed skin is more sensitive to UV rays and can burn or discolour easily.
2. Swimming
Chlorinated pools, hot tubs, and seawater can irritate freshly waxed skin and introduce bacteria. Wait at least 24 hours before diving in.
3. Perfumed Products & Harsh Ingredients
Avoid applying heavily fragranced lotions, deodorants, or exfoliants to the waxed area for a couple of days. These can cause stinging and inflammation.
4. Touching or Picking
Tempting as it may be, don’t touch, scratch, or pick at the skin. This increases the risk of introducing bacteria and causing breakouts or ingrown hairs.
